 Hawaiian Pizza

Hawaiian Pizza is quite possibly the most controversial pizza since it uses fruit but I know many out there love it!  The classic Hawaiian Pizza is straight up tomato sauce, cheese, ham and pineapple.  Strangely enough its origins are Canadian and not Hawaiian!   Sam Panopoulos’ claims that he created the first Hawaiian pizza at the Satellite Restaurant in Chatham, Ontario in 1962.

This Hawaiian Pizza is so easy to put together but tastes even better than delivery.  A pre-baked pizza shell (This will work with pita bread too!) combined with Maple Leaf® Country Kitchen® Smoked Ham takes all the hard work out of preparing this pizza so you can get it in and out of the oven before anyone can say “Is it ready yet?”
