Paper snowflakes are the perfect craft for a cold winter day. And, best of all, they’re really easy to make! All you need is some paper, a pair of scissors, and a little bit of creativity. But if you’re looking for a little help getting started, we’ve got you covered.
Just download the template, fold along the lines and cut out the shapes! Unfold to reveal gorgeous snowflakes you can put on display!
The snowflakes have complex looking patterns but are so easy to make once you get a hang of how to fold them.

How to Use the Snowflake Templates
Download the house template files to your computer to an easily accessible folder.
Print the house templates at home, office (if allowed) or at a professional printing service. Print out on letter size paper, using normal printable paper. Avoid using thick paper.
Cut out the outlined square from the sheet.
Fold the snowflakes as directed, starting by folding the template along the diagonal line once to make a triangle.
Fold the triangle in half to make a smaller triangle.
Fold the left section of the triangle towards the back, and repeat with the right section.
You will then need to cut away the points to create another triangle.
Cut along the pattern.
Carefully unfold the paper to reveal the snowflake.

It seems that the folding tutorial only works when the folding lines go into the center of the corners. Some of the snowflake templates don’t have that (like the one pictured above on the left). When I fold those, they don’t work. What am I missing?

@Ashley, I'm trying to fold it as shown in the instructions and it's not working for me as well. I'm not sure either. I also watched the video from the link above and I'm not any wiser.
