Did you know that the average amount of time that it takes to conceive is six months and that between 10% and 15% of couples will continue to have difficulty conceiving after one year of trying?

I’ve been very lucky so far with growing my family.  We’ve been blessed to be able to conceive so quickly and so easily.  I appreciate just how lucky we are because I have seen first hand the pain and struggle many of my friends have gone through trying to conceive.

I’ve witnessed the seemingly endless cycles of guesstimating ovulation dates to symptom spotting to the crushing negative response on pregnancy test after pregnancy test.  I’ve seen how devastating infertility can be and the toll it can take on day to day life.  For many, the issue is a matter of timing as the window of fertility is fairly short and happens just before and during ovulation which can be hard to predict.  Even when using those somewhat confusing ovulation tests.

iphoneThankfully help is out there in the form of OvulationCalendar.com.  I was recently introduced to it and thrilled to be able to share it with a few of my friends who are currently struggling to conceive.

OvulationCalendar.com can help you conceive faster by not only helping  you track your cycle but also by analyzing your personal cycle, health and lifestyle data in conjunction with aggregated data to predict exactly when you’re ovulating, helping you know your most fertile days and conceive faster.

What makes OvulationCalendar.com really work is that it is able to provide you real insights to your cycles, including your fertile window, most fertile days, pregnancy probability and future predictions.  It is completely personalized for you which is what makes it so effective, but its also completely free which makes it accessible to all.

I took the time to test out the process myself and was pleasantly surprised by just how easy it was to get started.  You do need some basic knowledge of your cycle to start but most women already keep track of the necessary information such as cycle and menstruation length.  The rest is simple – height, weight, age and other pertinent background information but all are optional.  Each day you can also track your basal body temperature, whether or not you had intercourse that day, your mood, changes in weight, diet and level of physical activity as well as healthy symptoms and more.  Of course the more information you input the more accurate the information you will receive.

  1. My cycle runs like clockwork, but I know that is not the case with everyone. I am sure this will help 🙂

  2. I no longer have to think about this–for the last 15 years or so. I probably would have needed something like this back then and I had a friend who definitely needed it, Of course back then it was hit or miss. It amazes me what is out there to help people these days.

  3. I was a fertile Myrtle and am well past my child-bearing days. For those who aren’t, it’s nice to see that there is somewhere to turn, easily.
