These Gluten Free Meatballs are is based on the recipe I grew up with my dad making. I prefer to pan fry my meatballs, I love the crunchy crust and juicy insides this creates. Feel free to cook them with your preferred method. These are truly the World’s Best Meatballs and they just happen to be Gluten Free. What makes them so great? I think its the secret ingredient: Curry!
Ingredients:
2 lbs Ground Beef (A regular sized package from the store)
1 Egg
3/4 Cup Rolled Oats
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp salt
fresh ground pepper
2 Tbsp Curry
1 tsp ground Cumin
1/2 Small Onion, Chopped Finely
Directions:
In a medium bowl combine all of the ingredients.
Add more rolled oats if the mixture is too wet, It should be moist but hold together well.
Form 1 inch balls with the mixture, using your hands to roll the meat.
To pan fry:
Heat a Tbsp of vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a large pan. Add meatballs to hot pan, careful not to over-crowd.
Sear each side of the meatball to form a brown crust on all sides then turn down heat to medium-low and continue to cook about 5-7 minutes.

If you need gluten free, make sure the oats are certified gluten free. A Lot of oats have cross-contamination with wheat.
