Jojo and little sister Lulu are back for more adventures as they continue to explore the world around them. The unique tabbed-section format introduced in Jojo’s First Word Book will give readers a sense that they’re holding a first guidebook to a wide range of everyday life on this new journey of discovery. But most important are Jojo and Lulu themselves. Never perfect but always cheerful and unflappable, they reassure young readers that they, too, can conquer the world.
Keira still loves Jojo’s First Word Book by Xavier Deneux which is an absolutely adorable and fun book to help Toddlers vocalize. Keira especially loves to point out Lulu crying and will immediately flip to the right page to tell anyone and everyone around “Look! The Bunny Crying! The Bunny So Sad!” Inside and Outside with Jojo is the logical next step to help toddlers explore the world around them even further with the help of the two adorable siblings.
Missing is the cute fabric handle but the familiar tabbed-section format is present and so is the fun! The sections include actions, basic skills like counting and opposites, days and seasons. It’s a great way to introduce more abstract thinking than a basic word book usually allows for.
Keira loves pointing things out on each page and when she doesn’t recognize something and is curious I get a little “Mommy, whats that?” This book does a wonderful job at helping little ones learn in a way that will make parents want to join in too.
