Chicken Soup for the Soul: Parenthood is filled with 101 Heartwarming and Humorous Stories about the Joys of Raising Children of All Ages.
This upbeat and heartwarming book will entertain and inspire parents of all ages, raising children from birth to college and beyond. The common thread that connects these 101 stories is made of caring, humour, hard work, and joy. Older parents will laugh a lot, tear up a little, and nod their heads in agreement as they recognize shared experiences shaping young lives. New parents will smile as they read about the adventures yet to come.
Wouldn’t this just make an awesome mothers day or baby shower gift?
It’s funny, when I was a kid I used to think it was funny how easily my mom would fall to tears watching tv or reading a book. Now that I am a parent myself I find myself with emotions just bubbling under the surface. I often get the most sentimental when thinking about my daughter and how lucky we are to have her in our lives. I knew I would not be able to make it through Chicken Soup for the Soul: Parenthood without shedding a tear.
I couldn’t have been more right! The very first story had me going and I didn’t stop as I read through the stories, although quite a few had me laughing my pants off. I was really touched by the storied and was gently reminded not to take what I have for granted.
I recommend Chicken Soup for the Soul: Parenthood to all parents, no matter what their journey to parenthood was like. There is truly something in this book for every mom, dad and grandparent. Truly a heartwarming read!
