Make smart, delicious snacking easy with NatureBox

NatureBox is a healthy snack company offering over 100 snacks delivered right to your door with new snacks added every month. There is always something new to try and discover. Their snacks are all free of artificial ingredients, high fructose corn syrup, and hydrogenated oils.

There is a good variety of snacks available to suit different dietary needs and preferences including vegan, gluten-free, paleo, and keto among others.

Snacks range from dried pinapple slices and Sriracha Cashews to Turmeric Black Pepper Popcorn and Lemon Turmeric Cookies. There is a good variety of both sweet and salty snacks with plenty of unique flavour combinations.

 

 

There is also an offering of themed curated snack boxes available to chose from which include a variety of snacks.

NatureBox offers both a membership option as well as pay as you go with or without a subscription service.

For just $5 per month, members get discounted prices on their good-for-you snacks as well as a $5 in-store credit each which month which is double the cost of a yearly membership. Members also receive free shipping in the continental U.S. on all orders of $25 or more. 

Members can also take advantage of the snack guarantee where they will replace a snack if you don’t love it. As an added perk, members are offered early access to the newest items every month.

 

 

Not interested in membership? That’s ok, you can still do pay as you go and order your snacks at full price without any of the membership perks.

If you fall in love with a snack you can subscribe for regular shipments and receive a 10% discount on each snack. Aside from the subscribe and save program though there is no automatic shipment of snacks unless you order them.

 

 

I was able to check out a good selection of snacks from NatureBox – I received some Keto options along with more standard snacks for the rest of my family to try.

I was happy to find that the snacks are all decently sized and offer a good number of servings. These aren’t sample-sized snacks.

The snack bags are very clearly and neatly labelled with nutrition information right on the front of the bag. This is something I really appreciate as I can easily check on all the information I need for serving size, macronutrients and ingredients.

I was also pleased with just how delicious all the snacks tasted. I tried all the snacks, even the ones I am not supposed to eat, and they were incredible. 

 

 

Both varieties of pretzels made it difficult to eat just one, they packed such amazing and intense flavour. In fact my kids absolutely loved them too and carefully doled them out in their school lunches to make them last a week. The Kung Pao Pretzels in particular have an amazing savoury and spice flavour to them with just this hint of “chicken-ness” to it that is incredible.

 

 

My personal favourites were the Hickory Smoked Turkey Jerky and the Teriyaki Beef Jerky. I love a good jerky, and these ones were definitely high quality – full of flavour and tender. I could clearly pick up the sweetness of pineapple in the Teriyaki Beef Jerky.

I was a little disappointed to find both jerky’s are made with sugar which isn’t really keto friendly. That said the total carbs from sugar is still very low per serving so I am sure it is OK in moderation.  It would still be nice to see a sugar free jerky available though.

 

 

One of my favourite Keto snacks is cheese bites and I was really pleased with the NatureBox cheesebites. Their flavour is above and beyond what I am used to. Totally addictive, crunchy, satisfying and Keto friendly as they are 100% cheese.

 

 

I was also really impressed with the amount of nuts that are in the bags of roasted salted cashews and almonds. Way beyond what I had expected and really great value. They are salted just the right amount and very fresh tasting.

 

 

Finally, the two snack mixes we received were huge hits. I loved the Keto Power Mix. It’s a delicous blend of nuts, seeds and coconut for a snack of healthy fats that really hit the spot when you need something to tide you over. My kids on the other hand absolutely devoured the Dark chocolate berry trail mix, it’s the perfect mix of sweet and salty.

Overall, if you love snacking and looking for more adventurous and healthier options, NatureBox is definitely an option worth checking out. They have a great variety of snacks to choose from and the membership certainly seems to offer a lot of value to serious snackers.
