Through the ever-growing laundry list of tasks, duties and responsibilities, being a mom has a beautiful side that makes it worth every single second. 7 Reasons motherhood is worth every second - check it out!

When you have your first child you are quite quickly swept away by the day to day necessities of motherhood. Between feedings, changings and running a household, there are a lot of challenges that come with being a mother and you must face them head on.

Through the ever-growing laundry list of tasks, duties and responsibilities, being a mom has a beautiful side that makes it worth every single second.

Reasons Motherhood is Worth Every Second

The Sweet Hugs

The sweet hugs you get from your children are absolutely the top of this list. There is something incredibly heart-melting about having those chubby little arms wrap around your neck. In the midst of a bad or stressful day, those hugs have the power to immediately brighten your day and make all of your worries go away.

The Unconditional Love

Your child will love you unconditionally, despite your many mistakes you’re bound to make as a mother. You might focus on what you’re doing wrong, but your children will simply see someone who is always there for them, and they will love you for it.

The Sense of Purpose

Your children give you this innate sense of purpose, as though you have finally found your place in this world. Even if it IS a world covered in diapers and spit up at the moment.

The Bond

The bond you will create with your children is like no other. As they grow and start to have their own opinions and challenges in life, there is no greater reward than when they share with you. Knowing that they trust you, and you trust them is out of this world.

Watching them be Kids

The abundance of joy that comes with watching your children be kids is astounding. You relive those moments over and over as you watch them grow and learn new things.

The Moments

The giggles, grins and straight up belly laughs are so rewarding. Living in the moment and watching their happiness is contagious. Kids will amaze you every single day with their discoveries and new words. They will even teach you a thing or two about appreciating every moment, how to be more patient and what true love really is.

Rising to the Occasion

Motherhood is knowing what joy is, even when you’re experiencing some of the hardest trials in your life. You will learn to rise to any occasion, being lifted to new heights. Parenting rarely presents a dull moment. You will experience more adventure mothering your kids than you could have ever imagined. Motherhood gives you an excuse to stay young forever, playing with chalk and absorbing every little moment.

There are many reasons that motherhood is worth every single second. The truth is, at the end of the day, knowing that you have created these beautiful little beings, watching them grow and develop, will fill your heart with pride and happiness.

Thanks for this. Sometimes we get bogged down in the day to day stuff and forget to appreciate the really great stuff. Like the hugs and unconditional love.
