Egg Carton Flower Canvas

Supplies:
White Canvas
Cardboard Egg Carton
Paint
Paint Brush
Scissors
Glue

Instructions:
Cut the egg carton into 2 pieces. (top and bottom)
Cut each egg cavity into a separate piece. Set aside.
Cut the sides on each of the pieces. (it will have 4 sections. refer to the photo)
Cut 2 pieces like this for each flower.
Repeat the steps above but cut the egg carton’s sides much lower. (refer to the photo)
You only need 1 short piece for each flower.

Cut leaves, stems and a short straight strip from the flat top of the egg carton.

Use scissors to round out the edges of the egg cartons.

Twirl the short straight strip into a circle. (refer to the photo)

Paint all of the flower pieces, stems and leaves and allow them to dry completely.

Glue the twirled circle into the centre of the smaller, shorter flower piece.

Glue 2 of the larger pieces of the egg carton together.

Glue the smaller, shorter piece into the centre.

Paint the twirled circle to match the flower and allow it to dry completely. Once the paint is dry, give the very top of the twirled circle a different colour coat of paint.
Leave the white canvas plain or give it a light coat of blue paint.
Glue the stems onto the canvas.

Glue the flowers on top of the stems.
Glue the leaves next to the stems.

Your craft is finished and makes the perfect Mother’s Day gift!
