+ 1/2 Cup for rolling cookies in
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cream butter in a large bowl then mix in sugar, vanilla extract and water until well combined.
Sift in flour and salt and stir into mixture.
Add pecans and mix thoroughly.
Scoop out tbsp pieces of dough and shape into small logs, then bend slightly at both ends to form a crescent shape.
Roll cookies in granulated sugar and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until bottoms just turn golden.
Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack.
Once cool store in an airtight container.
