1/2cupof broccoliI used a food processor, finely chopped
1/2cupof mushrooms I used baby portobelloyour choice
1cupof sliced sausage
2cupsvegetable brothor meat
1lbof steamed French lentils
salt & pepper to taste
Saute the shallots and garlic until soft and translucent. Then add all the remaining ingredients and allow to simmer until carrots are cooked through. About 20 minutes or so.
You can serve this as a stew. Or add more broth and turn it into a soup. I love serving this over rice or eating it with some sourdough bread. As an option thinly slice a radish to give it a little spiciness and crunch.
