Baked Crispy Chicken with Provolone
  • 6 Chicken Drumsticks
  • 2 Cups of Homemade Breadcrumbs
  • 3-4 Slices of Provolone Cheese
  • Old Bay Seasoning to taste
  • Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
  • 2-3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Pat dry 6 chicken drumsticks, set aside.
  3. Add Old Bay and fresh cracked black pepper to breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip chicken into beaten eggs.
  5. Dredge chicken through seasoned breadcrumbs.
  6. Arrange chicken in a baking dish.
  7. Drizzle with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  8. Add more Old Bay seasoning and fresh cracked black pepper
  9. Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and add strips of Provolone cheese in a crisscross pattern on chicken drumsticks. Place back in oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
  11. Serve.
