Flour, Baking soda, Salt, Cinnamon, Eggs, Brown sugar, Vanilla Extract, Milk,. Apples, Oil.

STEP 1

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

STEP 2

Combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla.

STEP 3

Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until smooth.

STEP 4

Follow with milk and stir to combine.

STEP 5

Fold in apples, just until covered. Don’t over-mix.

STEP 6

Fill a Dutch oven/cast iron pot with at least 2 inches of vegetable oil and heat on medium-high until it reaches 350°F.

STEP 7

Dollop the batter into the oil, cooking 3-4 at a time. Cook the fritters,  turning them over, about 2 minutes per side for a total of about 4-5  minutes until deep golden brown.

STEP 8

Remove fritters from the oil with a spider tool and place on a tray lined with paper towels.
