Sears Canada Gets a Fresh New Look

Sears Canada has been in the news a lot lately about their new store layout, and it’s definitely worth checking out one of the new format stores for yourself.  They have been hard at work improving their existing store layout, floor plan, merchandise and even logo!

I’m a busy mom with usually at least one child in tow when I head out shopping. I appreciate stores that take ease of navigation into account and that is one of the most exciting aspects of the new Sears concept stores. They have provided plenty of room for moving around with a stroller without bumping into other shoppers constantly.  I honestly love how easy it is to find what I want so I can either get in and out when I am short on time, or browse around without frustration at a more leisurely pace when I want. Sears Canada’s makeover really does make shopping that much easier!

The new look is fresh, clean, and modern but still very warm and inviting. When you first walk into one of the concept store you will notice that you aren’t immediately ambushed by cosmetics or racks. Instead you will immediately notice open the space is thanks to the centre runway concept. If you check out the revamped Sears Canada website it really does a great job at echoing the same clean, fresh and easy to navigate style found in the concept stores.

Sears Canada’s goal, in the end, is to provide incredible products for your family at affordable prices and a customer friendly shopping experience that the average Canadian will approve of. Personally I think they have definitely hit the mark with these concept stores, don’t you?

Sears is also releasing some new fashion lines sure to be approved by fashionistas country-wide: Tom Tailor, Jacqueline De Yonge, One Fashion by Vero Moda, and Jessica Simpson.  Tom Tailor provides on-trend casual wear and accessories for the entire family. Jacqueline de Yonge is a women’s clothing brand based in Denmark, offering essentials for the price-conscious fashionista. One Fashion by Vero Moda and Jessica Simpson are familiar brands, personally I adore the Jessica Simpson brand – the pieces are always trendy and high quality but affordable.

For those who love to look good but maybe aren’t the best at visualising complete outfits, you will find more mannequins visualising complete looks for your inspiration. Plus Sears Canada has added even more mirrors so you can see yourself in the look!

There are already 4 new concept stores located in Southwest Ontario including Promanade Mall in Thornhill, Mapleview Centre in Burlington, Stone Road Mall in Guelph and Oshawa Centre (in Oshawa.) If you live nearby, check out the fresh new look at Sears Canada!

  1. Looks like a great new look. The one here is still the old look and I have to say I never go to it. Hopefully they will change them all over to a newer look.

  2. Wow Sears has really changed since I’ve been to it. The one out here definitely does not look like this I wonder if all the other ones are going to follow suit. It looks a lot more classy.
