Remember your grade school teacher showing up weeks before Christmas in an ugly Christmas Sweater and dangly present earrings?
And now as an adult, you have to get dressed up for work according to a seasonal theme or risk looking like you lack team spirit?
You know what I mean.
In an effort towards showing team spirit I’d always wear the red on Valentines day, a costume of some sort on Halloween and something green for St. Patrick’s day just like we were all asked to do to celebrate. What a hassle though, especially when I didn’t just have something in my drawer ready to go.
What if you could make your own seasonal clothes with an old shirt and not have to run out on a Thursday night to grab the first green shirt you could find? This St Patricks Day Shirt is a great way to have fun with seasonal attire and you can easily adapt the idea for most holidays.
St Patricks Day Shirt
Lay your shirt flat onto your table
Place a piece of cardboard or a few sheets of paper under the front of your shirt
Cut your clover out and place it on the front of your shirt
Take all the caps off your markers so they are ready to use
Hold the clover onto the shirt using one hand and hold your marker in the other, using only the tips of your marker begin dotting around the clover almost like you are tracing it
You want to have a lot of dots directly around the clover then have then fade away the further you go
Now switch colours
You can always go back if you don’t have enough dots
Now move your printable out of the way
Let dry for 24 hours before you wash but after that these markers are permanent
