Cracker Pizzas made with Nairn’s Oat Crackers are an easy after school snack!

We are a family of snackers.  With two growing little girls I need to make sure we always have quick, easy and healthy snacks on hand that they will love.  We’ve been enjoying Nairns Oat Crackers and Cookies for awhile now, they are a staple in our pantry!

My personal favourite are the Nairn’s Cheese Scottish Oat Crackers.  The girls though love the Nairn’s Organic Oat Crackers topped with spreads, fruit or cheese.  They make for a nice light snack that keeps them quiet for awhile and happy until dinner.  Plus they are just full of goodness.

Nairn’s Oat Crackers and Cookies are all made from wheat free recipes with whole grain oats. They are high in fibre and naturally energizing to keep you going throughout the day.  They also contain zero trans or hydrogenated fats, no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives and a perfect part of a balanced diet.

Try topping the crackers with toppings like apples and peanut butter, peanut butter and banana, cream cheese and cucumber, hummus and more.  They are the perfect canvas for toppings so the sky is the limit!

Of course kids love pizza so one topping idea I’d like to share is for cracker pizzas!  It’s a perfect after school snack that will fill them up just enough but will leave plenty of room for dinner.  Use turkey pepperoni instead of pork for a healthier option without sacrificing on flavour.  These can be ready in under 10 minutes and only take 3 minutes to bake.

I would like to comment on the Chocolate Swirl Pumpkin cake. Pumpkin is a favorite ingredient this time of year. I have already made pumpkin pie and pumpkin muffins with chocolate chips. Now I would like to try this recipe. Thank you so much for all your recipes,
