Nature’s Path 30th Anniversary #Giveaway

 Nature’s Path 30th Anniversary Giveaway Prize Pack (CAN/USA) Ends June 7th 2015

Happy 30th Anniversary Nature’s Path!

30 years ago, ith only $7 in their pockets and a $1500 loan, in 1967 Nature’s Path co-founders opened Canada’s very first vegetarian restaurant in Vancouver, BC. Nature’s Path later started out of the back of their restaurant in 1985.

Nature’s Path first produced Fruit Juice Sweetened Corn Flakes, included in the giveaway below and have remained family-owned and proudly Canadian for 30 years while making delicious organic & sustainably-driven foods.  Amazing!

Had enough of intricate instructions and hot ovens? Baking doesn’t get any better than no-bake. Nature’s Paths’ first-ever cereal, the original Cornflake, takes the place of a graham cracker crust for a lighter (and deliciously gluten free) dessert. The creamy filling finds a perfect balance between zesty and sweet, and another layer of Cornflakes rounds out the dish with a satisfying crunch.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 0 minutes  |  Makes: 12 servings

3/4 cup almonds
3 cups Nature’s Path Fruit Juice Sweetened Corn Flakes
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
2 pkg (each 8 oz) brick style plain cream cheese
1/3 cup plain 2% Greek yogurt
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup sliced strawberries

Line an 8-inch square metal baking pan with parchment paper; set aside.

Add almonds to food processor; pulse until finely ground. Add cornflakes and pulse until ground. Add brown sugar and melted butter. Pulse to combine. Press 2 cups mixture into bottom of prepared pan. Place in freezer for 10 to 15 minutes or until firm. Reserve remaining half for topping.

Meanwhile, with electric beaters beat cream cheese with yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, lemon zest and vanilla until smooth. Spread half cream cheese mixture over crust. Sprinkle with strawberries, top with remaining cream cheese mixture and smooth top. Sprinkle evenly with remaining cereal mixture. Press lightly until adhered.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or up to 24 hours or until firm. To serve, scoop or cut into squares.

  2. We love Rice Krispie Cake – especially the way my daughter makes it with extra marshmallows – thanks!

  3. I make little cereal balls, with cereal, peanut butter, flax seed, chia and whatever sounds good at the time. I roll them into little balls and put in the fridge. They are grab and go snacks for my family, so they don’t grab less nutritious options.

  4. The kids love the Crunchy Monkey Bread i make with cereal in the recipe. Plus of course the classic Rice Krispie Squares.

  5. Of course rice crispy treats with fun add-ins like Reese PB chips or ribbons of toasted coconut are always a favourite! I also love using the Nature’s Path Qia blends in my homemade multi grain bread.

  6. I like to dip m chicken in milk then in crushed cornflakes, a crispy coating instead of shake & bake

  7. OMG, my fave: ice Krispie squares. Divine. Wow, prize natural path is fab. & splendid. 2 fingers snap. It is tight, fly & off the chain. Thank you for the awesomeness, the contest, and generosity. 🙂 Pick me, pick me! Dear Santa: I’ve been nice. My X-Mas wish this year is to win this contest. Starving artist here desperately needs the prize eat. A life changing exp.

  8. I love making cereal bars with dried cranberries and apple. Hubby takes them in his lunch everyday and my grandchildren take home a bunch too.

  9. I like to make a fruit crisp dessert from frozen blackberries I picked the summer before. I use a topping of granola with coconut sugar & butter.
