Hawaiian Pizza in 15 Minutes

 Hawaiian Pizza

Hawaiian Pizza is quite possibly the most controversial pizza since it uses fruit but I know many out there love it!  The classic Hawaiian Pizza is straight up tomato sauce, cheese, ham and pineapple.  Strangely enough its origins are Canadian and not Hawaiian!   Sam Panopoulos’ claims that he created the first Hawaiian pizza at the Satellite Restaurant in Chatham, Ontario in 1962.

This Hawaiian Pizza is so easy to put together but tastes even better than delivery.  A pre-baked pizza shell (This will work with pita bread too!) combined with Maple Leaf® Country Kitchen® Smoked Ham takes all the hard work out of preparing this pizza so you can get it in and out of the oven before anyone can say “Is it ready yet?”

  1. That looks delicious! My daughters and I love ham and pineapple on pizza.
Thanks for sharing the recipe….I’ve never made it at home.

  2. We often get a slice of Hawaiian pizza when we are at the mall, so about once a month. We have never tried to make it though

  3. My kids LOVE hawaiian pizza. I have never made my own pizza at home, but now I”m thinking I should, especially if I use a pre-baked shell! Thanks!~

  4. I never think to use pre-baked shells.. but I should; so quick 🙂 I know what you mean about Hawaiian pizza being either hit or miss – I think it’s the pineapple on there that is the culprit for folks 🙂

  5. It isn’t even dinnertime yet and I am already hungry for this 15-minute Hawaiian Pineapple and ham pizza. It’s always nice to have a simple-to-make fast recipe for dinner on busy day.

  6. I love making Hawaiian pizza. It’s always been a family favorite! Sometimes I use bacon instead of ham if I am out of ham, but it’s so much better the traditional way!

  7. I did not know that one could buy pre-baked pizza shells. I have to look into this. I know this pizza would be very easy to make and serve with such a shell. Hawaiian Pizza is my very favorite. Thank you for this recipe.
