Dare REALFRUIT Berries and REALFRUIT Chews

Like most people I get cravings; sometimes I crave sweet, sometimes salty.  Every now and then I do like to indulge myself with a treat but for the most part I try to avoid snacks that leave me feeling like I just made a mistake.

Dare Candy Co, has introduced a new way for Canadians to indulge cravings for a sweet treat with REALFRUIT Berries and REALFRUIT Chews.  The new candies are made with real fruit juice, natural fruit flavours, no artificial colours, and are fat and gluten free. 

REALFRUIT Berries are also gelatin-free which is great news for those looking to avoid animal gelatin in their diet (hallo Vegans!). They are made with real raspberry (and Elderberry) juice.  I love their soft texture and and the rich juicy raspberry flavour.  They remind me of the berry candies I used to love as a kid, although maybe just a little bit better.

 REALFRUIT Chews are individually wrapped which means they are perfect for throwing in your purse for an on-the-go snack to help you handle sweet cravings whenever they pop up!  Once you pop the chews in your mouth they start softening up quickly and you will soon find an explosion in your mouth of flavour.  They come in 5 flavours, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, orange and lemon.  Personally I love the lemon and cherry flavours the most, they are amazing.

 The REALFRUIT Gummies are also packed with tons of flavour but I have not admit they aren’t my kind of candy.  I’ve never been a fan of the texture of gummies, and these most definitely have that classic gummies rubbery texture.  The flavour really is good though so I didn’t really have issues eating through a bag of them myself.  Oops. 

I do like to indulge my sweet tooth when it pops up, and thanks to Dare with these better-for-you but still tasty snacks featuring great ingredients there is no more regret when I do indulge!
