5 Bean Salad

This Salad is a classic in our family. It is always found at summer get-togethers and tends to go pretty quickly.  It is easy to throw together, full of nutritious vegetables and legumes and goes well with pretty much any summer barbecue food.  It is the perfect vegetable side!

Five Bean Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Can Green Beans
1 Can Wax Beans
1 Can Kidney Beans
1 Can Chick Peas
1 Can Navy Beans
1 Can Lima Beans
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Cup Chopped Green Pepper
3/4 Cup Olive Oil
3/4 Cup White Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Pepper
1 Cup Sugar

 

Directions:

Drain cans.  In a large bowl mix ingredients together until well combined.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.
