ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat by Ingenuity Review

Have you ever looked around your house and just wondered when exactly it was that the baby completely took it over?  Seriously.  Swings, bouncers, play-yards, activity centres, and on and on. All for one tiny little person.  I’m a big fan of consolidating some of the equipment to remove the baby clutter so I was pretty excited to hear about the ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat by Ingenuity.

The ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat by Ingenuity is a compact swing that converts easily to a vibrating seat thanks to Easylock technology.

Let me just point out that compact part again.  It’s honestly the size of a regular bouncer… or about 1/3 the size of our current swing when in use.  The SlimFold design also allows the Swing-2-Seat to fold up flat for easy storage or travel.

The swing is super silent, courtesy of WhisperQuiet™ operation.  Literally the only noise it makes are the 8 sweet melodies and 3 nature sounds.  Ava seems to like white noise over music when it comes to actually trying to sleep but she likes the music when she is sitting around playing in the chair.

Speaking of sleep, Ava will only go to sleep when the swing is really going good.  Baby’s are so funny.  Keira was always content with ANY movement.  Vibration from her bouncers were usually enough.  Not with Ava though.  This girl is a little bit of a nutcase in that way.  Thankfully the swing features 5 different speeds on top of the vibrating action.

Of course these awesome features require batteries to operate.  Never fear though, Ingenuity thought of that and has you covered.  First, there is the swing timer with 3 settings: 30, 45 and 60 minutes.  Second, your batteries will live 3 times longer as  the swing is powered by super efficient Hybridrive Technology.

Ava is starting to play with toys now, which is so fun.  The swing comes with a cute toy bar in the shape of a leaf with two plush toys and space for 3 more toys to be attached if desired.  The toy bar also easily pivots out of the way which makes it a lot easier to get baby out of the swing.

The seat itself also seems very comfortable and cozy.  The seat-pad and head support are completely removable for easy cleaning.  It also features a 5 point harness and the clasp is cleverly hidden under a super cute snail applique.  Now I assume this was to keep baby from playing with the harness and possibly undoing it but it also has the effect of keeping her older sister from doing the same.

It is intended for use from birth and up to 20 lbs.  20 lbs is pretty decent of a weight limit as the average baby is 20-22 lbs at a year old and by then it is time for them to move on to other things.  Things like approximately 34,549 toys spread out like mines throughout your house.

I also really love the neutral design of the swing.  It’s super cute too!

I definitely recommend the ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat by Ingenuity for new parents.  This is a 5 star product if I ever saw one, I honestly can’t think of a single thing about it that I dislike, and it seems Ava agrees.
