Valentine’s Day is almost here and for those last minute shoppers out there, Walmart makes it easy and affordable to show that special someone a little love! We took a family trip on the weekend to Walmart to pick up the girls a special Valentine’s Day treat and a little something for mom and dad too. I was really impressed with the price points – beautiful red roses under $10, heart-shaped chocolates and candy under $5, and lots of Valentine’s Day essentials available too.
Keira was beside herself in excitement when she saw the giant wall of stuffed animals – many of them much bigger in size than her! Of course it wasn’t long before she was trying to bring them all home herself!
Thankfully she spotted Mickey Mouse and all the other animals were forgotten. She had to have “Maui” and at only $15 for a Disney branded stuffed animal I was only too happy to pick him up for her and a Minnie Mouse for Ava at Keira’s request.
The next part of the mission was to find a nice treat for my husband and for myself. This was a challenge as there were so many options available at really great prices. Chocolate priced at $10 and under really caught my eye. I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate? I ended picking up a Russel Stover heart box of chocolates for $9!
There were so many great Valentine’s Day gifts it was hard not to go overboard! I really loved all the Hello Kitty gifts and wanted to pick one of up for Keira but I think we will leave that for next year, I don’t want to spoil her too much after all!
There were even some really adorable animals priced at $3-$7 that I saw so there really are gifts available to suit any budget!
I was really happy to be able to get gifts for my whole family at Walmart, and a little treat just for me and all under $50! Amazing!
