Timeless Custom Illustrations from your Photos by My Own Art

Like most first time Moms, I’ve gone more than a little nuts with photos of my daughter.   I was planning on putting together a scrapbook but over the last 11 months now I’ve completed exactly two pages.  So what do you do with all these photos, especially the ones you love the most?

Elin Tidbeck has come up with a solution in My Own Art where she creates customised artwork from your photos!  Elin has a background as an artchitect and illustrator with over 10 years experience creating digital illustrations – skills she puts to use to create the unique artwork she offers through My Own Art.

How it Works

So how does Elin do it?  Once you have picked out the photo you would like transformed, you need to check out the styles available.  I chose Black and white etching with colour details for my photo of Keira, which was from a recent photo shoot.  Once you send your order through Elin goes to work transforming your photo into really cool artwork.  She then sends a low resolution file for your approval prior to sending the high-resolution illustration which includes the rights to make unlimited prints for personal use.

Check it out!

  1. I really like the etchings. Specifically the black and white etching with color details. Really need stuff! Thanks for the chance 😉

  2. I like the etching style, t would depend on the picture I chose of my sweet little one though which one I’d want in that style! Thanks for the chance!
