Growing up, cereal was always a huge part of our lives. We ate a lot of cereal! The five of us would have a bowl (or two!) each of our favourite cereals for breakfast. Sometimes we would get some dry for snacks in the day. A nice bowl before bed might have been had as well now and then. Like I said, cereal was a big thing in our house.
As a kid I always loved Rice Krispies – Snap! Crackle! Pop! I guess not much has changed there, what a classic and delicious cereal! My favourite treats though were Fruit Loops and Sugar Pops. Yum!
Now that I have my own family, cereal is just as loved in my own household. There are times I will open a new box to find it devoured within 2 days! That has nothing to do with a certain man with hollow legs of course.
You can imagine how excited I was to become part of the Kelloggers network and find this at my door last week!
I received Kellogg’s Krave in Chocolate and Double Chocolate, Special K Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Crisps, Special K Chocolate Crisps and Special K Granola along with a really cool bowl that holds milk separate from your cereal. How smart is that? Among some of the other great Kellogg’s swag was a book for Keira which you can see in the picture; Oh, Canada! by Per Henrik Gurth. She loves the pictures in it judging by all the grabbing and giggles, thank you Kellogg’s!
So what does this all mean for my readers? Well you expect updates on the latest from Kellogg’s including possibly some giveaways!
Did you know? The very first box of Kellogg’s cereal was made of entirely recycled material. Today almost all of their cereal boxes are made from recycled paperboard.
I want to know! What cereal was your favourite as a kid and has it changed?
Disclosure – As a member of the Kellogger’s Network I receive a variety of Kellogg’s products as part of this program. This is my personal blog and all opinions are honest and my own.
