Summer break has ended and my girls started back at school earlier this week. The transition from relaxed summer days to a busy September has brought with it many challenges most busy families face. The little things that help us stay organised are essential so that we can stay on top of it all between weekdays packed with school, activities and homework.

One of the biggest challenges for my family is staying on top of meals –  back-to-school breakfasts. lunches, snacks and of course, dinners. Staying prepared and organised for a weeks worth of meals while keeping in mind the needs of picky eaters who need good quality nutrition for their little growing bodies is key. Choosing healthy, nutritious ingredients like Canadian turkey makes this job easy.

Turkey, while packed full of high quality lean protein, is also full of essential nutrients like vitamin B12, selenium, and zinc. This makes turkey ideal as an anchor for any weekday meal -breakfast, lunch of dinner.

The other reason Canadian turkey is a great go-to choice is that it is so versatile and works well as a base ingredient for a variety of recipes.

Make weekday meals a breeze by planning ahead and including turkey for meals that are tasty, healthy, nutritious and easy to prepare. Meal planning and freezer cooking can save you both time and money, plus as a bonus, it eliminates question of “whats for dinner?”

5 TIPS TO MAKE BACK-TO-SCHOOL EASY WITH CANADIAN TURKEY
