Under the Crispers in your Refrigerator

Spills happen and when they happen in the fridge they always end up under the crispers. Regular cleaning prevents the Ewww factor.

Behind Faucets

Grime and mildew can build up in the crack between the faucet and the wall rather quickly. A good scrub with an old toothbrush and your favorite mold fighting disinfectant can get it shining like new. Make a habit of doing this once a week and it will stay shiny and clean.

Edges of the Sink

Another spot to watch out for is the edges of the sink. You know the spot where the sink meets the counter? Yeah that spot can get very icky. Scrub it with an old toothbrush and be sure to wipe dry after washing dishes for easy maintenance.

The Rubber Seal on your Refrigerator Door

The Toaster

Crumbs and dust collect in your toaster. Unplug your toaster and flip it over.  Open the hatch on the bottom and shake out your toaster. Give it a really good shake. Wipe down areas you can reach with a damp cloth. Return to normal and run the toast feature with nothing in it to burn off dust that may have shifted during cleaning.

Laundry Baskets

Dust, lint, and odd laundry leftovers take overs can build up in laundry baskets along with germs. A quick wipe with a disinfectant gets them clean and germ free again. Wipe down after emptying into the wash and your basket is clean and ready for when the dryer is done.

Toothbrushes

Toothbrushes are germ hot spots. Soak regularly in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water or in in antibacterial mouthwash. Rinse well before use. Replace toothbrushes every three months.

Ceiling Corners

Cobwebs collect dust and bugs. A quick sweep along ceiling corners is a great way to get rid of dusty cobwebs. Just do a quick swipe while sweeping. If you would like them gone for good spray lemon pledge furniture polish onto the walls and ceiling. The spiders will not return to that area.

Ceiling Fans
