Back to School is right around the corner and if you are looking for ways to send your kids back in style, Sears Canada has you covered with a trendy selection of private label styles at reasonable price points.
Both my girls are heading off to school this year and they are both very excited for the first day of school. We had some back to school shopping to do this past weekend and headed over to Sears Canada for together to pick up everything on our list.
We literally ended up shopping for everything from head to toe and we are now ready for what the new school year has to bring. You won’t believe how little we spent either – read on for the details!
We took some must-have last-minute essentials that are classroom ready from the Sears Canada private label line and put together some outfits that the girls love. They definitely fit their personalities too!
The girls jeans were $12.97 each but we scored two pairs for $20. What a fabulous deal – and even sweeter since that is the regular price on the Sears private label kids jeans. They are available in a variety of washes and colour as well as fits. Keira loves her high-top runners and is such a diva so we grabbed her a pair of indigo wash skinny jeans. Ava prefers comfort above all so we got her a comfy pair of medium wash boot cut jeans.
The girls have their own distinct personalities and they loved picking out a fun screen printed tee from the Sears private label essentials, and since they were 3.97 each, I certainly didn’t mind either. How cute are the graphics on these?
Their fleece hoodies were only 14.97 each and they are super soft and cozy feeling. Perfect for when that cool autumn weather hits to keep them comfortable but still so stylish. I love the star print and the soft colours.
Next we picked out brand new licensed backpacks for the girls from a good selection of different licensed characters and styles. We weren’t sure at first if we were going to go Frozen or Paw Patrol or Minions but in the end Frozen backpack won out for Ava. It was no contest for Keira though, as soon as she saw the Trolls backpack it was love, and at 14.97 I was happy to pick them up for the girls.
New shoes are a first day of school must and the girls couldn’t be happier with their new kicks. Keira got a pair of high-top gold runners from The Cut @ Sears – and they were only 29.97! She has had a pair of gold shoes every year since she was 2 so she was so excited to carry on the tradition and get a brand new pair. Ava found a comfy pair of Adidas runners on sale for only 20.99.
We also ended up picking up pink hooded down jackets for each of them. At only $34.97 they were irresistible – especially since the girls needed new jackets. The down jackets actually come in a variety of colours including plum, navy and a bright blue but they both wanted pink.
You won’t believe it, but we only paid $100 before tax in total for each of their back to school outfits – including their shirts, jeans, hoodies, shoes, backpacks, and jackets.
Besides the obviously great price points the quality of the pieces we picked up from the Sears private label essentials seem to be such great quality. If you didn’t look at the label you would not be able to tell they weren’t branded. The materials are soft and durable feeling which I feel should provide great value. It also helps that the girls absolutely love their outfits so I know they will be worn over and over throughout the school year.
