Breathe Easy with the New Dyson Humidifier

Fall is here and the days are getting so much cooler. Soon we will have the furnace on and running again and with it dry air and all that entails. I don’t know about you but I am not a fan of the dry skin, chapped lips, congested sinuses and the never-ending cycle of viral infections that occur over a long cold winter spent mostly indoors. Breathing in dry household air is the culprit and for most of us the solution is getting the humidifier out of storage.

Dyson approached me to test out their Humidifier, which is now available to purchase in Canada. It is advertised as having been designed by Dyson engineers to create a comfortable, hygienic home environment.

What sets the Dyson Humidifier apart from other humidifiers is that it uses Ultraviolet Cleanse technology to kill 99.9% of bacteria in the water and projects clean, hydrated air evenly throughout your space. Your old humidifier? Basically a breeding ground for bacteria which then get dispersed throughout your home as you run it. I don’t know about you, but realising how gross my old humidifier was basically enough to make me a Dyson Humidifier convert before I even opened up the box.

It is super easy to assemble with instructions you can actually follow along with details for maintenance and storage included. I had it out of the box and setup within minutes, ready to run. I was immediately impressed by just how much of a difference it makes, and it’s noticeable almost right after the Dyson Humidifier starts running.

I love my Dyson vacuum because it works efficiently with totally unique and brilliant technology designed to make it to do its job that much better. The same is true of the Dyson Humidifier. It features technology like Intelligent Climate Control which measures both the temperature and moisture in the room, and Dyson’s patented Air Multiplier™ technology which distributes mist evenly throughout the room – with no blades. It can even run for up to 18 hours of continuous use on a single tank of water or simply set the sleep timer and have it automatically shut off when you want it to.

No blades also means that it runs fairly quiet. Depending on the airflow level you have it running on, it can run while only adding a barely perceptible amount of white noise to the space it is running in. Even at the highest level though, it still runs much quieter than any humidifier I have previously owned.

It even come with a remote control you can use to change the airflow settings and I like that it is magnetised so that you can store it directly on the humidifier.  Seriously a lot of thought has gone into the design.

I also like that it can run as a stand-alone fan in the summer months. We have central air but it does not extend to our garage so it will definitely get plenty of use as my husband likes to tinker around in there. Even when it gets stifling hot.

As a mom of a very inquisitive 2 year old, I also love all the child safety features from no blades to no boiling water. It is even designed to cut off automatically if it is running and gets knocked over.

The Dyson Humidifier provides so many benefits, but the best one? We are all breathing easier in our home.

I would love to have a Dyson Humidifier for my home. The air gets so dry and our family is prone to nose bleeds. This sounds like a good investment.
