Cut the Cord with the Hoover Air Cordless Upright Vacuum

Our house has hardwood floors in nearly every room aside from the kitchen, bathrooms and the basement which is covered in carpet.  I also have area rugs in place in each of the three bedrooms as well as in the living room.  As you can imagine, vacuuming can be a real hassle.  Trying to find a free electrical outlet that is close enough to where I want to vacuum in 5 different rooms is enough to make me dread this particular chore. 

That is all a thing of the past though as Hoover has released a brand-new Air Cordless Upright Vacuum offering 50 minutes of continuous cleaning and sent me one to try out.  It is a full-size cordless, cyclonic vacuum featuring WindTunnel 3 technology that is powered by lithium-ion battery technology powerful enough to vacuum your entire home without the suction fading as you go.

 The vacuum includes an extended length crevice brush, a 2-in-1 Dusting and Crevice Tool, an additional filter, a multi-floor brush rool, a hard floor brush roll,  2 LithiumLife batteries and charger as well as a built-in extended wand.

The vacuum has been designed to be steerable thanks to the pivoting head and lightweight with all the features you expect of an upright vacuum in the body of a cordless stick vacuum.  I was really impressed with its ability to maneuver around my furniture with ease and with a weight of just 9.9 lbs it is a cinch to move from room to room as I clean.

I never thought a battery powered vacuum could harness the power to deliver constant, powerful suction but this Hoover sure does the trick!  The battery level indicator lets you know exactly how much charge you have left but as the battery level does get low the cyclone-powered suction remains as powerful as it is fully charged.  Since it does come with a second battery you can always have one charged and ready to go.  The batteries also only take 3 hours from empty to a full charge.  Now that is smart!

 Since I do have a lot of bare hardwood floor I love that the Multi-Floor Electronic brushroll On/Off button allows me to go from carpet to hard floor with just the touch of a button so I can get my whole home clean all at one go.

The canister can also carry quite a bit of dirt which is important.  There is nothing like having to stop part way through a job just to clean out your vacuum.

The efficiency of this vacuum makes it quicker and less of a hassle to clean.  So much so that I actually look forward to vacuuming because I don’t find myself struggling with cords anymore.  I’ve gotten to the point now where I vacuum twice as much as I used to.
