Celebrate Earth Day with EnviroKidz New Cereals

EnviroKidzPrizePack

Just in time for Earth Day, Nature’s Path EnviroKidz has launched two new whole grain corn puff cereals, including chocolate flavoured Choco Chimps Cereal, and cinnamon flavoured Jungle Munch Cereal.

Nature’s Path is a Canadian, family-run, passionately independent, sustainably-driven, deliciously-healthy organic food company that believes in “leaving the earth better than we found it”.

We were sent a package of the new cereal plus some EnviroKidz bars to try out.  We are pretty big cereal eaters in my house, especially with Keira being a definite cereal junkie.   Of course I often worry about ingredients like BHT and other potentially toxic chemicals in our cereal, never-mind the fact that I have no idea how the grains in our cereal are grown as the boxes aren’t marked one way or another.

I was impressed to find that not only are EnviroKidz Cereals irresistable to my little cereal monster, but they are also certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, whole grain, and made without toxic pesticides, artificial flavours and colours.

I love that the back and inside of EnviroKidz ceereal boxes feature tons of facts and activities about the world around us and the animals that inhabit it with us.

Our favourite flavour, and yes I’ve definitely had a few bowls myself, is the Jungle Munch cereal. Mmmm Cinnamon goodness.

EnviroKidz Choco Chimps Cereal supports The Jane Goodall Institute, global leaders in chimpanzee protection, and EnviroKidz Jungle Munch Cereal supports Fauna & Flora International, acclaimed heroes in Sumatra elephant conservation.

Speaking of Jane Goodall, did you know this amazing woman just turned 80?  Jane has always been such a source of inspiration to me, she is such a tireless and selfless person and has accomplished so very much.  My parents and Sister were able to go to one of her lectures in Toronto a couple years ago and they were really struck by how hopeful her message was.

With brands like Nature’s Path championing the Earth, I can only hope that we are all on the right path.
