Buy, Sell and Swap Kid’s Clothing at FlipSize Canada and Save!

 FlipSize is a Canadian online store that sells gently used kid’s clothes for up to 90% off retail value.  You can also earn cash for your like-new kids clothing or trade them in for store credit to up-size your kid’s wardrobe!  FlipSize is a great alternative to your local thrift store as you can shop from the comfort of home without the hassle of going through racks and racks of clothing in store after store.

I was invited to try out FlipSize for myself and shop for some items for my girls. 

I was immediately struck by the ease of navigation around the store with everything sorted by gender, size and then type.  Shopping was made even easier with the nice sized thumbnails of each item so I could easily glance over all the items quickly.  It wasn’t long before I found a few gems to fill out their current and future wardrobes.  I even managed to score three baby sleep-suits that were new with tags! 

This was my haul; a Pink Knit Cardigan, Purple Disney Princesses PJs, 3 New with Tags Zip Up Sleepers, Pink Fleece Outfit, Grey Hoody, and a Navy Dress.  Can you guess how much all this cost?  Would you be surprised to find out it only cost $28.00?  I was surprised and very happy with what I had found. 

When the package arrived I tore into it and was immediately impressed by how clean and new looking the clothing was.   Each item even arrived wrinkle free and neatly folded which shows a care for detail. 

The three sleepers were probably my favourite purchase.  Each one was only $3.50 which is far less than the lowest price I have seen on this style of sleeper from that particular brand.  Truly an unbeatable deal for brand new and unworn!  Honestly I feel like I struck gold with these.  Ava is going to be absolutely adorable and cozy in these!

I think my favourite item I picked up for Keira was this Navy dress.  It was only $4 which is a great deal considering it looks brand new and of great quality.  I would have been happy paying much more for it too as I think it looks just stunning on her.

I did carefully look over each item, and honestly if I didn’t know better I would have assumed that they were all brand new.  That is one thing about smaller sizes, they tend to get outgrown after just a couple wears and never get worn out.  It’s easy to spend a fortune on clothes that get worn once or twice and then sit in a box somewhere.  This is why I am kind of crushing on FlipSize right now.  You can spend next to nothing on a full wardrobe, sell them out-grown non-fitting clothing and then up-size your kids wardrobe again.  All while saving loads of money!
