Say you love me but don’t do it on Facebook

So, with Valentine’s so close that you can touch it are you the romantic type?

 

UK flower experts, Interflora have conducted a survey of 2000 people asking them how romantic they have been and are. The questions varied but as the movement towards a digital age carries on will the answers reflect that? 

 

The first question asks what would the most romantic way be for people to say that they love each other. 1.7% said “social networking site” but a staggering 46% of those surveyed said that a good old fashioned “handwritten letter or card” would be the best way. I can see this as a lot more thought goes into it than just messaging someone online, that and the privacy.

This said, a staggering 13.6% of respondents have professed their undying love on a social site while only 38.3% and 34.4% used a letter or card respectively.

 

The question as to whether you have sent a card or gift to someone other than your partner and the answers may be shocking to some of you but there are some nice ones such as “anonymously to a friend to cheer them up”. So it’s not all about the romance this could be about friendship as well.
