Scare yourself silly and scream with laughter at this hilarious spoof of Hollywood’s hottest horror movies. When a young family, who can’t seem to stop filming themselves, moves into a house that turns out to be haunted, they meet up with a host of creepy characters — including a horny vampire-hunting president who wants to emancipate their dragon-tattooed daughter. With help from the hysterically high-energy “Ghost Brothers” the family sets out to solve the mystery of the haunted house.
Extras include a “Behind the Scenes” look at 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
If it weren’t for the fact that I had to review this title, I would have shut it off within the first 15 minutes of play. The target market of this film appears to be college age males but I think it may have enough missed the mark there. This movie attempts to connect the main events of Paranormal activity while trying in films like Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and The Dark Knight Rises. Every joke attempted falls flat and led to us feeling bored. The worst part is that this film does not even attempt to hide how low of a budget they must have had to work with. This is quite possibly the worst spoof I have ever had the misfortune to see.

I didn’t much care for it either.
This looks like something that would make me laugh but then again, I’m far from normal.
I watched the real Paranormal Activity movies and I found them soooo scary. I’ve also seen this movie and meh, it was ok. My husband thought it was funny though.
I’m not a big fan of movies like this either, but my nephew loves them.
xo
I have a sense of humor but it has matured over the years – not much of a fan of this one.
